COMPANY PROFILE
The Association for Digital Finance Practitioners Zambia (ADFP Zambia) is a professional association of certified and experienced industry practitioners in the Digital and Finance space, guided by a constitution under an Executive committee.
ADFP is registered with the Registrar of Societies to promote Digital Financial Services (DFS) and financial inclusion skills building. The key objective of ADFP is to promote digital finance products and services usage and improvement by offering technical advice in building the DFS ecosystem and promoting quality of service in mobile connectivity and consumer protection. The association also promotes payment systems sensitization, Innovation, advocacy for Financial Inclusion, promoting co-opetition and Interoperability, advocating sustainability, and enabling Financial Markets to work for the Poor by continuously sharing ideas among the practitioners
Formation
ADFP Zambia was formed in 2018 by the Alumni of the Digital Frontiers Institute (DFI) Community of Practice (COP) and was officially launched and registered on 14th March 2019.
During its launch ADFP was endorsed by the Bank of Zambia, who welcomed the support that it will give them in the digital financial services (DFS) sector. The Bank of Zambia also recognised the significant role that DFI has played in developing capacity of digital finance professionals in the country

Jessica Chisompola
Secretary
Jessica Chisompola has over 17 years experience in business development, stakeholder liaison and engagement, marketing, digital banking, fintech, strategic planning, and consulting. During the course of her career, she has served under different capacities, having worked for OPay Zambia, Zanaco, ZICA and CETZAM Financial Services.
Chilekwa Banda
Chairperson
With over 15 years of experience in the Digital Financial Services industry, Chilekwa has developed expertise in the field of strategic planning, digital banking, business development, field research, talk radio hosting, digital marketing, and corporate acquisition.
Talitha Bulaya
Treasurer
Talitha Bulaya is a Certified Digital Finance Practitioner (CDFP), Gender Equality Changemaker (GEC), has a Diploma in Regulation in Digital Finance, and is a Chartered Risk Analyst. She has 37 years of banking experience of which 22 years have been in electronic and digital banking.

With over 17 years of dedicated expertise in the realms of financial technology and digital payments, Rhys has technically contributed in the implementation of regional, national and private digital payment systems, promoting financial inclusion. Holding an Executive Master’s Degree and several certifications, among them, Certified Digital Finance Expert (CDFE) and Certified Digital Finance Practitioner (CDFP), he brings a wealth of knowledge and proficiency to the Fintech landscape.
